With the Eid festivities swooning in for this week, the festival seems to be getting better and better. Earlier this year in January, we got to see a short teaser of Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Zero.

Now, the makers now have decided to release Zero teaser featuring Salman Khan which will be played before Race 3.

The teaser duration, according to a media source, is of 1 minutes and 15 seconds. In this short but sweet time, we will get to witness Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in one frame. The superstars were last seen together in Tubelight.

Besides this fantastic news, here are some great movies up for grabs at cinemas here in the UK!

Indian Cinema

Talking of Salman Khan, he is set to enthral audiences with the third instalment of the action franchise Race 3, which is one of the most highly awaited

Aside from the film depicting a heist story of twist and turns with betrayal, there is a family drama and Hum Aapke Hain Koun twist to this thriller tale. Speaking about this Salman Khan stated:

“Didn’t get time to watch them, but I knew the format. Just mixed a bit of Hum Aapke Hain Koun in it. In fact, I have never been a part of such a film.”

He added: “(The) Race 3 script was offered to me two years ago but I didn’t think I fit in the genre. It was a difficult genre for me to do, I wanted (a) few changes. I knew the genre of the film but I did not know where I will fit in the genre.

“I asked Ramesh Taurani (producer) to make some changes. Once that was done, I thought it would be actually a lot of fun to do this film.”

Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 stars an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Freddy Daruwala.

June is definitely the month of action and even though it’s been a week since Kaala has come out, and this awaited Rajinikanth film is always a great movie option, even more so as it is (as expected) receiving tremendous box-office collections.

The Tamil action-flick revolves around a man named Kaala (Rajinikanth) who runs away from Tirunelveli in his childhood, moves to Mumbai where he becomes a powerful don living in the slums of Dharavi.

With jaw-dropping action sequences, Rajini’s swagger dialogues, Kaala is a decent entertainer for Eid. But if that’s not enough, then seeing two iconic actors of Indian cinema: Nana Patekar and Rajinikanth sharing screen-space is definitely a wow moment.

In addition to Nana, there are some familiar faces from Hindi cinema in Kaala, including actors like Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil and Pankaj Tripathi.

Pakistani Cinema

Mahira Khan, who last impressed us with a powerful performance in Shoaib Mansoor’s Verna, returns to the big-screen with her first comedy film, 7 Din Mohabbat In.

The movie is a hilarious romantic tale about the quest of a young man named Tipu (Sheheryar Munawar) to find his true love in a crowded Karachi neighbourhood and the obstacles, both spiritual and physical, that he must overcome in order to achieve his goals.

This film will reunite both Mahira and Sheheryar who were last seen in the coming-of-age drama Ho Mann Jahaan. Plus, the film also seems to amalgamate elements of supernatural and romance. This also promises the film to be a wholesome family entertainer.

With regards to Hollywood, the supernatural horror flick Hereditary is this week’s release. The film follows the story of a family that begins to be haunted following the death of their reclusive grandmother.

Having premiered o at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in the Midnight section, the film has been acclaimed by critics, who called it “truly, upsettingly powerful on an emotional level.”

But of course, we understand that horror may not be everyone’s taste. If this is the case, then there is the option to see the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom film, in case you haven’t already.

On the whole, there is some great line-up of films to make your Eid celebrations extra fun, enjoyable and special.

Asian Style Magazine would like to wish all our readers an Eid Mubarak in advance!
