The second film in the Talvar franchise is speculated to take the original story forward. Allegedly Titled Talvar 2, the film is expected to focus on a gruesome murder of a child in a Gurugram school.
The Talvar sequel will be produced by Junglee Pictures and Vishal Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj will also direct the second instalment.
Bhardwaj had written the screenplay for the first film.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the first film had Irrfan Khan in a pivotal role.
