Taapsee Pannu has a number of films lined up. A few days ago, she took off to Glasgow to kick off Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla. Badla also stars Amitabh Bachchan and is a revenge drama. It will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan, Sunir Kheterpal and Akshai Puri.

Now, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Taapsee is all set to once again collaborate with Sunir, but this time, for a romcom.

The film is tentatively titled as Dare And Lovely and will be directed by Punjabi actor, singer, songwriter and director Gippy Grewal. Dare And Lovely will mark Gippy’s directorial debut in Bollywood.

A source close to the film revealed, “The film is set in Punjab with Taapsee playing a girl searching for her roots. She heard the script a few months ago and loved the subject. She has verbally given her nod to the project but has yet to sign on the dotted line.”

Gippy had made his acting debut in Bollywood with Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja in Second Hand Husband. He also starred in Lucknow Central, which had Farhan Akhtar in the lead role.

Apart from Dare And Lovely, Taapsee will be seen in the upcoming film Soorma, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh. Soorma is based on the struggles of the hockey player and ex-captain of the Indian National team, Sandeep Singh.

Sandeep Singh was paralyzed for two years due to an accidental gunshot in 2006. The film shows how Sandeep, after fighting all odds and obstacles, once more got selected in the team, and won the match as well as took India to the 2012 Olympic games.

Taapsee will also star in Manmarziyaan, alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. The film is directed by ace director Anurag Kashyap.
