The biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was one of the biggest hit not only in Sushant Singh Rajput’s career but also in Bollywood. If reports are to be believed, Sushant is all set to star in its sequel.

According to the latest buzz and an Indian media report, Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP films is mulling over to produce the second instalment to the movie which will see Sushant reprise the role of former Indian cricket team captain.

A source close to the actor revealed to a leading daily that the sequel will focus on Dhoni’s achievements post the World Cup win in 2011. “There is the [Dhoni-led Chennai’] thrilling win against Bangalore at the T20 [this year, that can be depicted in the film].

Apart from that, India’s steady run, up to the semi-finals, at the 2015 World Cup will find a place in the narrative,” the source added. His personal life including the birth of his baby Ziva will also be a part of the movie.

Dhoni will have a fair involvement in the sequel as well especially during the scripting process, according to the source. The sequel is expected to go on floors next year.

In the meantime, Sushant is looking forward to the release of Kedarnath this year alongside debutante Sara Ali Khan. The movie based on the Uttarakhand Flashflood incident will release in November this year. The movie is being helmed by Abhishek Kapoor.
