Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s much-loved Television show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ will soon return with its third season. Sony Entertainment Television which aired the last two seasons of the reality show will bring it again with none other than Salman Khan as host.

Sony Entertainment confirms Dus Ka Dum next season with Salman

Danish Khan, the channel’s Executive Vice President and Business Head, confirmed the news to IANS. When asked who would be hosting it, he confirmed Salman’s name indirect, saying: “I will answer you in a way by saying you tell me who else can it come out with? So, if you’re asking me who is doing ‘Dus Ka Dum’… (My answer is) Is there anyone else who can do ‘Dus Ka Dum’.”

The new season of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ slated to be aired next year is said to be the most ambitious project for Sony channel. “This time, with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC), we created a kind of world record as 3 crore people played KBC on mobile. That was our first attempt at getting a second screen — a mobile — in play for the television,” Danish said.

“We believe ‘Dus Ka Dum’ will be the biggest interactive show that we have ever done. For Sony, it will be the most ambitious TV, plus second screen experience for consumers,” he added.

‘Dus Ka Dum’ is an Indian version of the popular international reality game show ‘Power of 10’. The show that aired between 2008 and 2009 helped Sony TV regain its third position in the Indian television ratings and with the new season they are hoping to jump their rank.

The official announcement about the show and the host is expected to be out within a month.
