In addition to Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shraddha Kapoor will be working on the biopic of Saina Nehwal, which is being directed by Amole Gupte.

The Saina Nehwal biopic is expected to go on floors this September and Shraddha will soon resume prepping to ace the badminton skills to get into the skin of the character, according to a midday report.

Saina apparently wants Shraddha to be perfect before she begins shooting. For the same, the Ek Villain actor has been training under Indian team head coach Pullela Gopichand.

Saina spoke about the biopic earlier and said that she is hopeful that such movies will inspire more people to take up sports especially badminton.

Apart from the biopic, Shraddha has a huge lineup of movies including Saaho opposite Prabhas. She also has the horror-comedy Stree opposite, Rajkummar Rao. This is the first time Shraddha and Rajkummar will be uniting for a movie.

Stree is helmed by Dinesh Vijan. The first teaser for the movie was unveiled recently and it will give a chill down your spines. Stree was extensively shot in Bhopal in a very tight schedule.

Regarding Batti Gul Meter Chalu Shraddha and Shahid had to learn the local dialect and were seen bonding with the locals like never before.
