Karan Johar has always been at the forefront when it comes to launching new talent. Not only will KJo launch Janhvi, Ananya and Tara, the SOTY director will also be producing Sara Ali Khan’s debut film, Simmba.

The latest buzz is that Karan apparently wanted Kiara Advani over Sara Ali Khan for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba.

Kiara, who starred in Johar’s segment of Lust Stories on Netflix, really impressed him and as per the news daily sources Karan’s talent agency is taking care of Kiara Advani and pitched her for ‘Simmba’ as well.

But the director Rohit Shetty didn’t agree to that and felt she was a misfit for the role. Earlier, Abhishek Kapoor was also upset with Sara Ali Khan for allowing her dates meant for ‘Kedarnath’ to Rohit Shetty film.

Saif Ali Khan had to intervene and resolve the matter. The Indian media earlier reported that Saif along with Sara went to Gattu’s office to discuss the matter.

A source claims, “Abhishek explained his predicament to Saif and requested him to help him sort out the date hassle.

The source added that the actor has apparently assured him his co-operation in doing the best he can. “Saif had been requested to help clear this stalemate amicably,”

Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a notorious cop named Sangram Bhalerao in the film which is slated to release worldwide on December 28th, 2018.
