The blackbuck poaching case had the entire nation’s eyes glued to the screens. There was the only one thought which orbited in everyone’s minds – ‘Will Salman Khan get bail?’

Alas, the prayers and hopes of many Salman Khan fans were answered and the superstar was granted bail – with bonds of Rs.50,000 each,

We previously reported that sister Arpita Khan Sharma penned an emotional message for her brother Salman, but now it also seems that the Megastar himself has also reached out to his fans and well-wishers.

Salman took to his Twitter page and shared a tweet thanking his fans. He wrote: “Tears of gratitude. To all my loved ones who are with me and never lost hope. Thank you for being there with all the love and support. God Bless.”

Salman was granted bail on Saturday 7th April and the actor headed back to the city that evening itself. He had an emotional moment when thousands of fans assembled outside Galaxy Apartments to catch a glimpse of him post his release. Khan thanked everyone before he headed back to his home.

Prior to his bail, Salman Khan was originally sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in relation to the 1998 Blackbuck Poaching Case which occurred when the superstar was shooting Hum Saath Saath Hain.

He is reportedly due to return to court for another hearing on 7th May.
