Saif Ali Khan tickled our funny bones back in 2013 when he starred as the hilarious Boris in Go Goa Gone.

For a while, talk on a sequel to the zombie comedy has been making the rounds and finally, Saif confirmed to an Indian daily that he will be reprising his character in the sequel, Go Goa Gone 2.

Saif revealed to the media, “We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel.

But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second instalment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script.”

On why he chose to be a part of the film, Saif revealed that the script by Raj and DK is very quirky, just like the first part and that is what drew him to Goa Goa Gone 2.

Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das will also be reprising their roles while Go Goa Gone 2 goes on floors in January 2019.

“People enjoyed it (Go Goa Gone) and I’m sure we will entertain them with the second movie, too. If this one also works well, we will have a good franchise,” Saif added.

Meanwhile, Saif is gearing up for the release of his web series, Sacred Games, which will be airing from July 6, 2018, and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte.
