The Duchess of Cambridge has just given birth to a baby boy which was delivered at 1101hrs and weighs 8lbs 7oz.

An official statement announcement established that Prince William was present for the birth and “Her Royal Highness and her child both doing well.”

This is Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third baby after Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate’s labour coincided with St George’s Day which is the feast day of Saint George, the English patron saint.

Just earlier today, an official announcement was made stating:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour.

The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St.Mary’s Hospital with the Duke of Cambridge.”
