A Madame Tussauds wax statue is one of the best tourist attractions, across the globe. Several Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and others have their wax statues immortalised at the famous museum.

Now, the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon is ace filmmaker Karan Johar. As a director, Karan will be completing two decades in the industry as his directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released 20 years ago.

Interestingly, Karan is set to be the first Indian filmmaker to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds. The filmmaker’s figure will be heading out on a tour across Asia. Karan’s statue will be ready in six months.

Recently during an interaction with a media agency, when Karan was asked about making children’s film, he stated, “Just because I am a father, I don’t think I will be making a children’s film. I will make those films that have appealing stories. It is always story dependent.”

Karan further said, “I produce those films that are entirely dependent on my intuition… when I read it or synopsis that I fall in love with and want to take it further.”

On the work front, Johar started shooting for two highly awaited films under the Dharma Productions banner. One is Student Of The Year 2 – which stars Tiger Shroff, alongside newbies Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday.

The other project is the magnum-opus, Kalank (earlier rumoured to be titled Shiddat) which has a huge multi-starcast consisting of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt.

Aside from these exciting projects, we can’t wait to see the wax sculpture of KJo!
