Taapsee Pannu was last seen in Dil Junglee with Saqib Saleem and is currently ready for her next film with Rishi Kapoor.

Recently, there were rumours that casting director Honey Trehan was keen on having Taapsee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui on board for his first directorial which is said to be a crime thriller. However, Taapsee reportedly is not too keen on getting paired with Nawaz.

A source informed the media, “Honey and Taapsee were in talks for the murder mystery, but the actress didn’t like the project. Apparently, she wasn’t too keen on being paired with Nawaz in the film, hence she refused the offer.”

Earlier, Honey was to make his debut as a co-director with Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone’s next untitled film alongside Vishal Bharadwaj. However, following a fallout, Vishal announced that he will be directing the movie alone.

Meanwhile, Taapsee has an interesting lineup with Mulk, Soorma, Manmarziyan, Womaniya among others.

Taapsee Pannu and Kriti Sanon will be seen together in Womaniya which is based on real-life incidents of women who are professional shooters.

As reported by an Indian tabloid, the actors will get trained for rifle shooting by CommonWealth Games 2018 bronze medalist Apurvi Chandela and Olympian Anjali Bhagwat.

A source informed the tabloid, “The film is primarily about women shooters from Uttar Pradesh and their rise to fame against all odds. The actresses will have to undergo training in rifle shooting to pull off the roles convincingly.

The makers are keen on getting Olympic athletes, Apurvi Chandela and Anjali Bhagwat, to train Kriti Sanon and Taapsee Pannu. They feel it will add to the authenticity of the movie and will also help them get the basics of shooting right. The preparation for the film will start by August.”
