Early reports suggested that Madhuri Dixit will be collaborating with Priyanka Chopra for a sitcom, which is allegedly based on the Dhak Dhak girl’s life in America.

When an outlet from Mumbai asked the Devdas actor about an update on the same, she answered: “TV is a funny medium, it takes time for things to happen. The script is being developed, the rest is work in progress. Let’s see where it goes.”

Meanwhile, Madhuri also earlier told another Indian publication, “I am going to narrate my experiences in the US, which will help in the creation of select episodes. The sitcom is inspired by my life, but it’s not entirely about me. My time in America was barely influenced by the recognition I had in India. The show highlights that too.”
“The project was conceived by us (husband Nene and Dixit) along with writer Sri Rao. Once we were sure about the idea, we approached Gordon’s production company [Entertainment One] to take it forward. They loved the idea. They suggested we get Priyanka on board. We thought it was a great idea because she knows our industry and how the system works in the West too,” added Madhuri.
On the work front, is busy with the promotions of her upcoming Marathi film Bucket List. The actor will be making her debut in the Marathi film industry with the film. Bucket List is slated to release on May 25, 2018.
We are highly anticipation this Madhuri-Priyanka collaboration… Are you?!
