Actor-producer Sanjay Kapoor has been part of the Hindi film for over two decades, but he has
never got the opportunity to work with his elder brother and actor Anil Kapoor.
Sanjay said: “Anil has been in this line for 30 years, I have been in this line for over 20 years. But unfortunately, nobody has cast us together. It’s never too late, we both are doing films and are active. I am sure one day you’ll find us both facing the camera together.”
Sanjay, who made his acting debut in 1995 with the film Prem, also turned producer with the 2014 film Tevar, starring his nephew, actor Arjun Kapoor.
Asked whether he wants to be a director, he said: “Not as of now… I can do a lot of backseat driving… I mean, when you are a producer or actor you feel ‘This could’ve been like this or that, but direction is not easy. You have to be very focused when you decide to direct a film.” The Raja actor says that if he ever directs a film, “I only want to concentrate on it”.
