Since the announcement of ‘Housefull 4’ has been made, everyone is talking about its potential cast. Although the makers announced that the fourth part of the ‘Housefull’ franchise will release on Diwali 2019, they were tight-lipped about the cast.

Now, if the latest reports are to be believed, Sanjay Dutt who recently made his comeback post his jail-term with Omung Kumar’s ‘Bhoomi’ will be a new addition to the cast of ‘Housefull 4’. It will be the first ‘Housefull’ movie for Sanjay who has his own franchise in the name of ‘Dhamaal’. He has reportedly been signed in to play an intense character in this laugh riot.

Besides Sanjay, John Abraham who starred in ‘Housefull 2’ has also come on board for this film that is supposed to bring double delight with its unique and exciting idea of reincarnation. “Both John and Sanjay have agreed in principle. Sanjay will be playing a pivotal role; his character will be shown as strong and intense,” Mid-Day reported today quoting a source.

Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh who have been associated with all the ‘Housefull’ movies since its inception, will retain in the fourth part, too along with Chunkey Pandey and Boman Irani. A South Indian actor has also been approached to play an important character in the film.

Abhishek Bachchan (seen in Housefull 3) and Jacqueline Fernandez (Housefull 2 and Housefull 3), however, will not be a part of ‘Housefull 4. While the reason behind Abhishek’s exit is not specified yet, the source informed the daily that Sajid Khan’s arrival as the director in the film marked the departure of Jacqueline who dated with Sajid during the shooting of ‘Housefull 2’ but broke up in 2013 on a sour note. “He has told Sajid Nadiadwala that he doesn’t want to be a part of Housefull 4, given their history,” the source said.
