It’s been three years since Rani Mukerji fans have seen her on the big screen, so naturally expectations are high from her for her return to the big screen and from the looks of it, she surely is keeping up the expectations.
Rani Mukerji married one of Bollywood’s biggest film producers Aditya Chopra in 2014, and has since given birth to a baby girl. Whilst juggling her new role as a wife and mum, Rani seems to be well prepared for her return with her refreshing new avtar in Yash Raj Films Hichki.
The first trailer release of Hichki, sees Rani’s essay the role of a struggling teacher with tourette’s syndrome. The story-line is indeed interesting, and Rani impresses from the word go.
The film is about turning disadvantages into opportunities and staring down at challenges and ultimately winning them over. It’s about having hope through the many trials and tribulations.
The film is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, produced by Maneesh Sharma and is set to release on 23 February 2018.
