Salman Khan’s latest release Race 3 has become one of the blockbusters of 2018 and has crossed 100 crore collection at the box office in just 4 days. The superstar will start shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat once he returns to the country after Da-bangg tour.
Dabangg 3, also starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role, was supposed to release in 2019 on Republic day. The third sequel will be helmed by Prabhudheva. However, as reported by an Indian tabloid, Dabangg 3 will now release after Bharat.
The tabloid reports that Dabangg 3’s producer Arbaaz Khan has decided to push the film’s release to the latter half of 2019.
A trade source informed the outlet, “Both films will be shot simultaneously from September. But the plan is to release Bharat first.”
Bharat will be Salman Khan’s third film with director Ali Abbas Zafar. The actor-director duo has given superhits like Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) together.
In Bharat, Salman Khan will be reuniting with Priyanka Chopra after almost a decade. The film also stars Disha Patani in a vital role.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan was supposed to shoot for Bharat in London. However, an earlier media report mentioned that as the actor was convicted in the blackbuck poaching case and is currently out on bail, it is difficult for him to get the permission to shoot in London.
Hence, Ali and the team of Bharat have decided to shoot for the film in Abu Dhabi and also in Canada.
