Recently Imtiaz Ali and Shahid Kapoor celebrated the 10th anniversary of their most loved film, ‘Jab We Met’ and now there are rumours doing the rounds in media that both would soon be collaborating again for a film.
Although there is no information if the film is a sequel to ‘Jab We Met’ or a fresh drama, it’s said to be a love story again. Mumbai Mirror reported that “the film kicks off in Mumbai in April and will be followed by an extensive shoot, both in India and abroad. At the moment, Imtiaz is still looking for a leading lady to be cast opposite Shahid for this rom-com.”
We are not sure if this is true or not but seeing the pipeline of future projects of both Shahid and Imtiaz, a new collaboration between two seems possible. Shahid whose ‘Padmavati’ is all set to hit theatres on 1st December has only one project in his hand for now. Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ will roll in few weeks and will be completed by March 2018 giving him enough time to shoot for Imtiaz’s next.
Imtiaz, on the other hand, has had a film release a few months back and currently don’t have any film ready to go on floors. Also, he had revealed that he is working on two projects so it’s a possibility that his next film will be with Shahid.
