Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan was believed to have a promising career in Bollywood but that went up in smoke after the controversy followed by Uri attack last year. Fawad had done three successful movies (Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Muskil) and had many projects in hand when the dispute between India and Pakistan took place. Pakistani artists were banned to work in India after that conflict between the two nations.
However, even after that ‘Can Not Work’ ban, some Bollywood producers had approached Fawad for films but he refused to star in any Hindi film as he didn’t want to indulge in any controversy and receive hatred that he faced during the India-Pakistan conflict.
Now, we have heard that Fawad is planning for Hollywood. He is reportedly exploring to head for America in pursuit of quality work. “Fawad is someone who believes in excellence in work but he is not getting many good enough film roles in Pakistan that could satisfy his creative hungriness. He doesn’t see much of a challenge in continuing to work in teleserials back home,” a source informed Asian Style Magazine.
We have also come to know that Fawad recently signed on with an agent in Hollywood with the help of his Mumbai-based friends. He has even begun reading scripts and will move to Los Angeles as soon as he’s zeroed in on his first project.
