Dressing up for Diwali
By Ninder Kaur
The festival of lights is fast approaching and it’s time to sparkle and dazzle in your best outfits.
Here at Asian Style Magazine we have come up some outfits choices that will definitely have you looking fiercely festive.
The fashion of churidaar kameez has not died down. They are comfortable yet traditional and chic. When it comes to choosing the colour one can go for the bright colours- like pink, blue, green- which is in these days. This apparel of bright and colourful shades teamed with shimmery borders will definitely make you look simple yet pretty! Churidar teamed with high-heeled stilettos are great at bringing your outfit together.
Anarkali suits are the things of the future. When it comes to anarkalis, Indian designers have introduced many variations in terms of its cuts. Apart from the design, the ‘ghera’ and length of an anarkali is what makes it an exceptional piece.
To keep it simple, opt for an anarkali which has work only on its borders and neckline. Why not try anarkalis with ethnic jackets, or anarkalis with asymmetrical hemline, which are a hit in the market. If you want to look draw-droppingly good this festive season, then an anarkali is right for you.
Nothing quite says Diwali like a traditional saree.
Bright colours are everywhere in the market- from bright saffron, to teal blues, purples etc, you can choose from this vibrant collection of sarees. The trend of a simple saree in a bold colour teamed with a creatively designed blouse will certainly give you the festive look this season.
There is something to suit everyone. From sarees to anarkali and churidar suits, opt for new and interesting styles for the kameez and you will be sure to get everyone talking this Diwali….all for the right reasons of course.
